The lemon has to be cut in small pieces and the product is to flimsy to get a proper squeeze, but it looks good.

I bought this because we had just moved to citrus country (Fillmore, CA), and had lots and lots of free oranges, lemons and grapefruit to juice. I though it looked kind of cool, however when it arrived my wife informed me it was ugly. Oh well, I thought, we'll keep it out of sight but it should crank through the fruit! NOT!
The can opener is great.Very nice looking item.The grater is not worth messing with. It really is too hard to clean up.You spend more time cleaning it out than using a manual onoe.Don't get me wrong.This is an outstanding item! Would buy it again. Great deal on Amazon.
If you only occasionally need to juice a lemon, lime or orange, this is the tool to get. It's compact and yet does the job. If the cost is too high, get a wood version. Most of those other hand held juicers don't get any more of the juice out and make just as big a mess. By that I mean you need to do the operation over a bowl. A nice 1 qt Pyrex mearsuring bowl is perfect as you can pour the juice out when you are done.
This blender beats the competition by a mile.There are several things that set it apart besides the power and design, which allows perfectly smooth smoothies, sauces and soups if you want them that way.I reviewed a previous model that is no longer available and notice there's a new model out that doesn't have the middle knob.While you'd still get the easy cleanup, power and reliability of the Vita-Mix, that knob (which is on this model) is something I really value because it allows you to change the speed by infinite degrees during processing.
My boyfriend and I are smoothie fanatics, and I often make giant smoothies for both of us, so I needed a blender powerful enough to take care of lots of frozen fruit at once.Man, does this thing do the trick!The pitcher is really wide, so ingredients at the top are more easily sucked down to the blades, and it almost never develops that annoying air pocket that prevents anything from happening at the bottom.My old blender would do that so often, it would take me forever just to make a smoothie for myself, and no way could it handle two at the same time.This one has a stir stick to keep things going, and since it's exactly the right length, I don't have to worry about it hitting the blades while the blender's on - when I have to use it at all.I can fill the pitcher literally to the brim and it has no trouble mixing really thick smoothies (frozen mangoes, strawberries, pineapple, melon, bananas, etc.) really well.I thought the pour spout would be a hassle, but it's very sturdy, never leaks and keeps things really clean - plus, you can take it off and replace it with a cap (included) if you want.The base is featureless except for the dial on the side, so it's super easy to clean too - when I have to, which is almost never.I just can't say enough about this blender.It's awesome!

I wish I had listened to E.Buhkman of Ohio's review, instead I wentwith the others. I have owned at least four other brands of juicers, for the money this is probably the worst. It produces very little juice and it stopped the second time I used it, while only juicing carrots and cabbage. I was really looking forward to the extra large chute(BAA HUM BUG!!!) it is only slightly larger than the Juiceman juicer. I had to clean it after two carrots to get it to start again. When I pushed the on button it hummed and gradually started again, only to give little juice,I found the rest of the juice when I squeezed the pulp. It was medium as far as sound. The basket takes a little extra to remove. I gave it two stars because it looks cute. If you still want to purchase one of these, I'll gladly sell mine.
This juicer is good for someone who isn't sure if juicing is for them. It gives you the opportunity to try various juice recipes without investing a lot of money in the more expensive juicers.I would recommend you get a juicing book as a companion to the juicer, as some parts of fruits shouldn't be juiced. (apple core/seeds)
I live in citrus country.I borrowed this from a friend to try it before I bought one for myself. I knew I had to have one.If you juice often, it is well worth the price.
I bought the Omega 8002 Juicer on the recommendation of Dr. Joseph Mercola, a holistic health MD who has a popular newsletter and website. We met him at a health fair, tried vegetable juices (including wheatgrass juice) and realized that juicing was a great way to incorporate more vegetables into our diet. I mean, how much broccoli and salad can one person pound down in a day? Not so much.
We used this juicer for 2 months. After one month the juicer began to vibrate and make weird noices that scared our kids and cat. Finally the blade is dead and we are ready to get rid of this machine. Machine looks very nice and I give it 2 stars for the look.

We have gone through 4 blenders in the last 18 months.We are consumers of high quality products and usually do our research.Each and everyday we make "fruit shakes" for our family of 5.Our mix consists of frozen fruit, sometimes some fresh fruit, yogurt, and oj.Our other blenders burned out, even the Blendtec couldn't handle the job (it automatically shut down on us, plus it couldn't really handle 64 oz. of our mix!).But this guy (okay, it's very masculine looking), can do the job quick and make enough in the mega-sized 64 oz. plus pitcher for all 5 of us (we usually have to make 2 pitchers).Frozen drinks are just about all we use a blender for so for our purposes, this is the only one for us!It's loud, it's scary, it moves about a bit, but it does the job so fast that it doesn't matter that much.It's not that attractive to my eyes, but my DH thinks otherwise.I usually like to store my appliances in cabinets, but this one is too big and heavy to move in and out each day...so on the counter it stays (it's sure to be a conversation piece).I have to say that it makes my life A LOT easier and that is why I rate it a 5.
Sorry to disagree with other reviewer but I've had mine since 2006 and do quite a bit of juicing since we live in South Texas where we have an abundance of citrus, including grapefruits, oranges (navel, mars, pineapple, etc), limes, lemons, and even tangelos, etc. We juice these in combinations and love the juicer!It has never disappointed us over the 3 years we have had it.We sometimes juice as many as 15-20 lbs at a time for the holidays when everyone is here and then send everyone home with a gallon at times.Great Juicer!
The third time that I used this juicer (for exactly what it was supposedly designed - squeezing juice from lime halves), it broke into pieces. It is made of inferior quality "pot" metal (zinc chromate?) and should be withdrawn from the market. Don't waste your time and money on this piece of junk.
excellent gadget--easy to use, keeps the seeds out , handy...it was a bit difficult with one very large lemon, to get it all the way in, but once in, it worked fine...love it...
I have bought the exact same equipment from World Market. It is poorly made, does not extract as much juice as it should and it has many weak joints that loosen up if you apply force. It looks good when new and does nor rust. At least yet. If you will be doing a lot of juicing, I recommend on getting a different one. You will pay more, but it will be worth it.
Product was decent, but nothing told me it was made in China and with the problems there of lead paint, I remain very concerned, especially since this will be used on a acidic fruit!
My husband gave me this juicer for my birthday.I had been squeezing juice by hand which had been messy and didn't allow me to get that much juice out of the orange or lemon.This Hamilton Beach product not only extracted loads more juice, but transfer of the juice from the collector cup to a pitcher was easy and clean up took less than a minute.
This model is hard to clean. The plastic lid has ridges with crevices that trap the pulp, plastic insert for the blade also has nooks and crannies, both pieces need to be soaked and scrubbed with a bottle brush to remove pulp bits. I purchased this model because of the dual hi-lo controls, but they are small and on the bottom left side, rather than more convenient right. Although the motor and the juice spout are stainless steel, the lid and blade insert are brittle clear plastic. It must be this particular model, which did not have a review. The rave customer reviews for other models was the reason I selected a Juiceman. None of them mentioned the hard to clean top and basket.
Wow! I've never had better fresh-squeezed juice - ever! My girlfriend and I bought this juicer, used it five or six times, and then never used it again. I reckon that each 8 oz. glass of juice cost us about $600 or so. What a bargain!!
This juicer has been perfect for my needs.It is easy to use and clean.It would be difficult with more than 2 people, but ideal for us.Very happy with the product so far and have already gotten a lot of use out of it only after a few weeks.
Half way through squeezing the first lime it splits in half.According to a fellow I know who works at a local cooks supply store, they had this happen to about six of them and had to return all they had.
Since I moved to the US 5 years ago, I had been looking for a good citrus juicer. First I owned the usual Oster and it was too simple (no pulp control), then I bought a fancy but awful Cuisinart CCJ-100 Citrus Pro Juicer (even the 2 amazon stars it gets are too much) that I returned.
For everyone interested in purchasing this fruit squeezer, it is important to be aware that it is not intended to actually squeeze fruit with... it's a fascinating decorative object for your kitchen.
I own this juicer and find it perfectly fine. It is easy to disassemble and clean, and to reassemble. It is not as large as some juicers, but holds a reasonable amount of juice and debris (separately, of course). For the price, it is a fine product, equal to others that cost much more.
the juicer certainly looks good, all shiny stainless steel.it works pretty well too.even has a spout built into the juice collector, so you don't have to remove the strainer to pour out the juice.
I first used this juicer when I worked at a high end restaurant, we used it all the time.It can make peanut and other nut butters as well as juice about anything.I purchased one for home around 10 years ago and it is still going strong.I take it to my kids day care and push peeled frozen bananas through it for some of the best home made instant "ice cream" you can find (all the kids love it and it is cool to watch and participate).This also works great for frozen peaches - amazing stuff that everyone likes and is great for you.I generally juice fruits like carrots and apples as well as nuts and the above frozen fruits.It has a magnetic safety interlock where the motor with the "masticator" part will not turn on unless the housing is attached.All the parts are sturdy and the motor is more than adequate.

Been using this machine commercially for 10 months and it works well enough that, being in the position for the acquisition of a second, I am buying a another.Don't stuff too much all at one time or it will freeze up.Otherwise, all is good!
All the attachments are useful. The box also doubles as a measuring cup, which is very thoughtful. The handle does not stick, and you will have to attach it every time you want to grate something. Be careful! The slicer is very sharp.
This is a particularly good citrus squeezer, very well made and attractive. It really gets the juice out! It works on limes, lemons, oranges. It doesn't come with instructions. Cut your citrus in half and place it cut side down (the opposite of what you'd think) so that the squeezer can turn the rind inside out. Enjoy!
I have been looking for another juicer just like this one for years.I had one of these for many, many years and it was my absolute favorite.I tried to replace it but nothing has ever lived up to the Braun.If you find a place to get another, please let me know!I WANT ONE in the US!!!!!
