If you only occasionally need to juice a lemon, lime or orange, this is the tool to get. It's compact and yet does the job. If the cost is too high, get a wood version. Most of those other hand held juicers don't get any more of the juice out and make just as big a mess. By that I mean you need to do the operation over a bowl. A nice 1 qt Pyrex mearsuring bowl is perfect as you can pour the juice out when you are done.If you own a lemon, orange or lime tree and want juice every morning, or if you have tunnel carpel syndrome, or arthritis, skip this tool. But if you are healthy you'll have no trouble at all getting all the juice out.
If you don't want the pulp, run the juice through a hand strainer when you pour it out. I like pulp in my lemonaid and orange juice so this is my prefered tool. And best of all,its inexpensive and it stores easily in the junk drawer and doesn't take up any of my counter space.
