I bought this juicer expecting it to out-perform my current machine. However, it's just too much trouble to assemble the screw and caps and cut up vegetables and feed them in the hopper and plunge them in, slowly.With my old high speed blender that I use for carrot juices, it's simply amatter of pushing whole carrots into the top slot.Then open and clean out.Takes a minute.In sum, I would say this Samson machine may be useful for something, to someone.But please, if only I could have tried it out first.

Samson GBW300 Ultrasonic Ozone 3D SOUL Food Washer Review

This product came fully assembled, just fill with water and put in your fruit and hit the button. The quality of the unit seems very heavy duty, doesn't make too much noise and doesn't smell strong of ozone. I just put it on top of our sink, fill up, use the clean button, pull the drain plug and quick rinse and put it away.

I've washed fruits and veggies and seems to work very well. It's impossible to really know if it kills 98% of the junk on the produce, but they do look much cleaner and i've noticed they last longer in the frig after washing. So hopefully it's doing what they claim, i certainly feel better about eating the produce after it's washed.

I would certainly purchase it again if needed.

I have had many juicers and was happy. But since I received my Greenstar 3000, I have no idea how I have livedwithout it. I did a fair amount of research before buying this unit.It lived up to what was written:

1.Sucks every bit of juice out of vegetables and fruits through super-efficient trituration.Trituration basically means grinding, in this case with two heavy stainless gears.Grinding saves the enzymes in the fruit and vegetables.Cheaper models slice, which heats, kills and overly oxygenates them.The SA spits out pulp which is so dry that it made my mouth very dry for a while the first, and last, time I tasted it.

2.Can juice pretty much anything that is juiceable.This includes the exotics, like wheatgrass, nuts etc.No adjustments are necessary for different types of inputs.

3.Easy to clean as juicers go.

4.Doesn't take up a lot of space.

5.Kind of cool looking.The ultimate gadget to show off.

I don't know whether the less expensive twin-geared juicers that triturate can do the same.I just know this unit does it great.I also read that it's a lot easier to clean than the more expensive (more than 2X) Norwalk juicer.

If you've got a grand to spare, it's a good investment for your health and the health of your family.It is very well built and will last a long time.It won't be thrown away in a few years like a similarly or higher priced laptop.

PSThe unit appears to be made in South Korea and it looks like they are disguising that fact by prominently labeling that it's from usjuicers.com and not putting the country of origin.I am American.I have no problem with the fact that the unit is made in South Korea.I just wish they would label it as such.I also wish South Korea made it as easy for Americans to sell products there as it is for South Koreans to sell products here.

This is the best juicer I have ever used.I have used the Juiceman and the Jack Lalanne juicers, but this one tops them both.It is quiet; there is less mess and reduced vegetable/fruit waste; and it is easier to clean.The fact that it is multifunctional (making pasta, sorbets, baby food, peanut butter, etc) is a bonus.

I have rated the 8006 at five stars because of its efficiency, ease of use and quality of materials.The newly designed auger is a translucent black material that GE calls ULTEM.The warranty has been increase from 10 years to 15 years.The juicer probably functions the same as the model 8005 and 8002 so all of the previous reviews apply to the 8006.The power switch is located at the lower back of the juicer and allows the auger to be reversed if something would become lodged in the mastication extraction tube.The Omega auger is patented and has a two stage screen for greater juice output compared to other brands.For example, five medium sized HoneyCrisp apples produced a full quart of wonderful clear pulp-free juice.The apple juice does not turn brown nearly as fast as the juice from centrifugal type juicers due to the lower oxidation from the 80 rpm auger.There is very little foam, and the included screen can be used to filter the final product, if desired.The Omega 8006 does a great job with carrots but with this juicer as with any juicer, the smaller the items, the greater the juice extraction efficiency.I need to point out that the feed tube is only about 1.5" in diameter.There lies the problem with large tube centrifugal juicers.They waste about 20% of the juice and this is significant when you count the price of organic produce.I use a little cutting board to slice items while the juicer pulls them in almost by itself.It works very well.I juice greens including wheat grass and parsley, which can adhere to the spinning basket of a centrifugal juicer and cause the basket to be out of balance.This happened to me with a JuiceLady JL-500 and it cracked the top of the juicer before I could turn it off. If you do not want to cut the produce into smaller pieces then this is not the juicer for you.I enjoy using the 8006 and I have yet to see a bad review of an Omega single auger juicer.Of all the juicers made, this is definitely in the top ten and some websites rate it as No. 1.I can recommend this Omega juicer with no reservations.Enjoy!
